Character Name: Jonas Skysong
Character Job: Trainer
Character Age: 18
Character Gender: Male
Character Height: 6 foot
Character Weight: 70 kg
In-Depth Appearance:
With a pallid complexion and white-blone hair that seemed to always stick up in tufts regardless of how he looked after it, Jonas was often likened to a cloud. Standing at a neat six feet tall, and weighing in at a lithe seventy kilograms, Jonas was by no means a heavyweight champion.
His sky-blue eyes were usually alight with curiosity, amusement or happiness, but would turn stormy and almost a blue-grey when he got angry or upset.
Favouring the smart-casual look, Jonas often walked around in clean denim jeans, with a white shirt and loosened blue tie that would flap in the breeze when he ran. If he got cold, he would open the blue backpack he uses for travelling and withdraw a dark blue cloak that mimicked the midnight sky.
Keeeping himself clean-shaven at all times, Jonas makes a point of carrying deoderant and a toothbrush with him whenever he plans on travelling.
In-Depth Personality:Optimistic. Day-dreamy. Naive. Innocent. Loyal. These are all words befitting Jonas Skysong. Yet it is impossible to sum anyone up in a few words. One would have to meet a person to truly know what their personalities are.
It is incontrivertable, however, that Jonas cares deeply for his friends and allies. The prospect of maliciously harming someone without cause, be it physically or emotionally, is abhorrent to him.
Although, once he is in the ring, he exhibits an almost child-like passion for Pokemon battles. Getting caught up swiftly in the emotions of the battle, he will not back down easily and strikes hard and fast to achieve success. But when the day is over, he always makes a point of shaking the hand of his opponent, and will often be more than happy to learn from those he encounters.
In-Depth Character History:Jonas was born 18 years ago, to proud, yet overprotective parents living in the high-rise apartments of the Twilight Plateau. For most of his shildhood life, he was left alone in his apartment while his parents went out to work. With no nanny, pokemon or even a pet to entertain himself, all Jonas could do to entertain himself was chat online with the various inhabitants of the city via instant messaging. It was online that he heard the fascinating stories of trainers from around the city, that went out into the stormy regions of Hyren to tame, train and battle with their pokemon.
He would access the massive online pokedex and spend hours trawling through the lists of known pokemon, dreaming that one day
he might own them one day. Pokemon of all types fascinated him, but there was one particular type that enraptured him most of all; Dragon-types. Jonas would stand at the large open glass windows of his apartment and look out at the city stretching away below him, dreaming that one day he and his pokemon would crash through the glass and sail away into the wild, blue yonder.
But it was not to be. When his parents heard of their sons ambitions, they expressedly forbade Jonas from becoming a Pokemon Trainer.
"You can become a breeder, and come to know and love all sorts of pokemon that a trainer would never be able to experience" said his father.
"Or you can become a Coordinator, and show off your pokemon to the world without resorting to violence and dangerous risks!" said his mother.
But Jonas did not want to be a Breeder. He did not want to be a Coordinator. He wanted to be free! To experience the thrill of a battle and the triumph of a victory.
So, on the day of his eighteenth birthday, Jonas became a legal adult and left home...to begin his journey as a pokemon trainer!
