The Master Rules Thread Character Creation The PokePhone Marketplace [Store]	WEATHER CENTER REPORT Every area of the wilderness is temporarily open for travel, but Handlers are advised to keep their pokephones on and audible, for the whole island seems to be threatening to send any area into disaster at any moment. For now, all areas are in a 'warning' state until the Weather Tower can further predict the disasters around the island.

Welcome.
Hyren: an island located to the south-west of the Kanto Region. A thousand years ago, a woman named Tyra Dove attempted to colonize is with the help of trainers from the other regions and failed to do so. The Pokerus virus that was so common in Johto managed to kill any and all native species to the island because they had no immunity to it. Still, the island soon became the Republic of Hyren.

Fast forward to the present.

The island is split by borders into eleven distinct regions, each with their own climates and individually affected by disaster after disaster with most normal people in the Plateau paying little mind to it. Pokemon and training is a taboo of sorts with no one wanting to be reminded of history's mistakes. Yet, there are still Gyms out there somewhere in the wilderness waiting for a brave Trainer to challenge it. There are also Challenges that need to be conquered along with Pokemon to be taken care of by Breeders. Ribbons also still need to be won by Coordinators, whoever they may be.

Will you do it?

Will you defeat the reckless leaders of the eight gyms? Or will you choose to revel in glory after returning alive from a challenge? Or even more so, will you find your perfect Pokemon partner and dazzle the masses?

After a recent problem with the wrappers and a crash that caused a slight rollback on the skinning side, we seem to be back online. A motion for a forum-wide move may be put forth soon, seeing as ipbfree seems to be getting unstable. Please refrain from stating your opinions on this in the OOC boards or the Chatbox, an announcement will be made for it to get the players' say on this (No sense in moving if it'll cost us half the playerbase).
